Driver - Programma gratuito per il backup dei driver

Una volta usavo windriversbackup, che era gratuito, per eseguire i backup dei driver del sistema operativo 2000 e XP e la relativa reinstallazione.

Questo mi permetteva di non dover scaricare i driver da internet del vendor e guadagnare tempo.

I tempi sono passati ma le esigenze sono rimaste le stesse, per questo mi segno come promemoria questo interessante software (Double Driver) che è sia in versione installer che "portable".

Una volta avviata l'applicazione si selezionano i driver di cui vogliamo fare il backup (Microsoft e non Microsoft) e li salviamo in un path o Hard disk esterno.

Tips - Minizzare nella System Tray Skype con Windows 7

Usando Skype in windows 7 ho notato che non si riesce a ridurlo ad icona nella system Tray.

Ho risolto settando Skype che venga eseguito in modalità compatibilità Windows XP SP3

Microsoft ha rilasciato il tool AD Replication Status Tiik (ADREPLSTATUS) che analizza la replica del Domain Controllers in un Dominio AD o Foresta.

Server - Settaggio policy di Dominio per il WSUS

Può capitare di dover implementare una policy di dominio per dei client per l'installazione in automatico degli aggiornamenti da WSUS.

Ho trovato questa policy che a mio avviso si adatta bene in un dominio Microsoft se si vuole che gli aggiornamenti vengano installati tutti i giorni, nel caso disponibili, in automatico sopprimento il prompt per 420 minuti e piu.
