ClearOs - Installare i Vmware Tool in ClearOS 5.2/6.2

Per installare i Vmware Tool in ClearOs 5.2/6.2 è necessario:

- Collegarsi con Putty via command line

- Se il putty non funziona aprire la porta relativa del firewall (tramite la console grafica)

- yum groupinstall "Development Tools" (comando per clearos 5.2)

Per ClearOs 6.2 eseguire uno e/o piu' dei seguenti comandi:

- yum install gcc gcc-c++ kernel-devel kernel-header autoconf automake
(comando per ClearOs 6.2) oppure "yum groupinstall development-tools".

Ecco di seguito il comando che per me ha funzionato su clearOs 6.2:

yum --enablerepo=clearos-dev install kernel-devel kernel-headers

- Montare il CD-Rom con i Vmware Tool 

mount /dev/cdrom /temp

cd /tmp


- Copiare il contenuto su una cartella in linux ed estrarlo

cp /tmp/VmwareTools.tar.gz /home

tar -zxvf  VmwareTools.tar.gz

cd /home/VmwareTools

./vmware-tool.pl 

Alla fine risulterà installato vmware Tool
